On time is stylish. Forty minutes late is a different party. If the listing names a close time, treat it like a flight.
In the room
- Talk to humans before you talk to the camera.
- Do not bring three friends who were not on the list.
- Dance if there is dancing. Hovering at the wall with a rating face is how rooms die.
- Pay for what the listing said is extra. Do not negotiate at the bar.

Thank the host like a guest, not like talent. Get yourself home. The night is not an after-party you are owed.
