Surprise bills kill nights. We do not do that. The listing shows the amount. You apply knowing what yes will cost. If the host picks you, you pay, then you go.
That is the whole money story, on purpose. Hosts are not haggling in DMs. Guests are not guessing whether “experience fee” means dinner or a PDF.
What the amount is for
A someday day might cover ingredients, a plate at the end, the fact that a professional is letting you into their service. A pop party might cover the room, the sound, the drink that starts the night. An event might cover a tasting you will talk about for a month.
Read the listing. If food is included, it will say so. If you should bring cash for extras, it will say so.
If plans break
Refunds follow the refund policy. Read it before you pay, not after a train is cancelled. Money questions go to the host first, then to us.
Browse with the price in mind. The right listing is the one you would be happy to pay for even if nobody posted about it.
